Music Career

          Karine Asatryan began studying violin at the age of seven in the Tchaikovsky music school in her hometown of Yerevan, Armenia. Thanks to her outstanding performance she graduated with an Excellency diploma and gold medal. After which she enrolled in the National Music Conservatory of Armenia, graduating with an Excellency diploma of concerto violin soloist and teacher. She continued her studies achieving the Specialty Masters in Chamber Ensemble at the same conservatory.


          A few months after graduating, she joined the National Opera Orchestra of Armenia as part of the first violins. Shortly after, joined as solo violinist at the National Grouping of Radio and Television Violinists of Armenia. Within this group, she participated in numerous tours to Russia, performing at the famous Bolshoi Theatre. Her career continues as violinist with the Symphonic Orchestra of the city of Yerevan and with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia. Here she accompanied many international soloists through different European tours, performing in countries like Germany, Greece and France, among others.

          Thanks to her professionalism and experience, in 1998 Karine received an invitation form Maestro Eduardo Alvarez, current Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Acapulco, to join his orchestra and represent the state of Guerrero in Mexico. The Theater of Fine Arts and the National Auditorium at the Mexico City are some of the halls where she has performed. Finally, with several colleagues she established the Armenian Musical Association in the beautiful city of Acapulco to provide professional musical services for weddings, XV years, banquets and private parties.


          Karine Asatryan has been living in Cancun since 2006 where she started her company Violin For You. This company has been providing music services for all kinds of events. Karine is very passionate about music and her company.
